Lightest Double Stroller
If you're looking for a light double stroller, weight and folded size are key factors to consider. Selecting a stroller that is easy to maneuver and compact when not when not in use makes it much easier to fit in the trunk of your car, and to maneuver through airport gates and foreign streets.
The best strollers that are lightweight have an easy, light fold and self-standing mechanisms to lessen the burden on parents' bodies. Many strollers come with various seating options and some are able to accommodate car seats for infants.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
The perfect product for families traveling. Lightweight, with a simple one-hand compact fold. All-terrain wheels and front suspension as well as a multi-position reclining seat will accommodate children as heavy as 50 pounds. Parent and child trays, large storage basket and 3-tier canopy that has a peek-a-boo window for maximum sun protection.
The Cloud has one of the lowest scores on our tests of quality due to its flimsy design, hard plastic seats and a design that feels dated. It is also more expensive than other strollers with a lighter weight. This makes it a poor choice for those looking for the cheapest option.
Although it's not the lightest double stroller, it comes with enough features worth considering. Its swiveling wheels make it easy to navigate it on flat surfaces. It can also leap over curbs with ease. The low handle of the Cloud is a disadvantage however, as it's at knee level and isn't adjustable. It's not a comfortable thing to push your legs dangling in the air like that, and it doesn't help that it's not cushioned.
During testing, we found that the Cloud was easy to set up and open. It's a little more difficult to close the cloud, however. You have to slide a slider and then press a large white button to get it to collapse. This can be a hassle especially if you're juggling kids while you do it.
The Cloud comes with a tiny but deep storage basket. It's large enough to accommodate an enormous diaper bag. The basket is a bit small and you might have to store something inside to reach the back. The Cloud comes with two tray for parents and children with two cup holders however they're too narrow to hold larger cups or bottles.
Kolcraft is a family-owned business which has been in existence since 1946. They started by manufacturing crib pads and diapers however, they now manufacture a variety of baby products, including highchairs as well as infant car seats. Jeep Destination Ultralight is a lightweight double stroller with a minimalist style that's ideal for travel. It's light at 18 pounds (lighter than some single strollers!) It folds flat, making it easy to carry and store. It also features independently reclined seats and large SPF 50 sunvisors that have a peekaboo window. The visors are adjustable to fit children of different heights. It also comes with an integrated parking brake with one step and is Disney-sized certified.
The swivel wheels on the Jeep are also great for maneuvering over bumps and uneven surfaces. This stroller is not compatible with car seats. Your child must be at minimum six months old and possess an excellent neck control in order to ride on the front seat. It does have three panels of a nice sun canopy, however each seat comes with its own snack tray and cup holders for parents.
Another incredibly lightweight side-by-side stroller is the Valco Baby Snap Trend. It's heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 pounds. However, it's narrower and slimmer (26.5 inches wide!) and has a ton of luxurious features that make it perfect for travel. It folds up easily and very easy to move around. It also is easily able to fit in overhead compartments as well as trunks of airplanes.
The Joovy Kooper X2 tri-folds and is ultralight, just like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double or Mountain Buggy Nano Duo. It is similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS but has some key differences. It's a bit more expensive, but it has a better sun canopy and better maneuverability. It comes with a handy carrying strap and can accommodate children weighing up to 44 pounds in one seat.
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is a stroller that is light packed with features. It is not only incredibly lightweight at just 13 lbs but also has a lot of storage, including cupholders for both parents and children and a sippy-cup bag for the child as well as a pocket for storage for parents and so on. This stroller can also be used with a child's car seat and comes with a brake with a flip-flop feature that is easily engaged. This stroller is designed to grow as your child grows. It can be converted from a baby stroller into a toddler stroller simply by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children 6 months and up.
Another thing to take note of about this stroller is that it runs on swivel wheels and doesn't have any locking capabilities therefore it may not be the best choice for terrain that is rocky or hilly. It is able to maneuver well on sidewalks that are paved and other smooth surfaces, however, so it's still an excellent option for most families.
This is among the smallest and light double strollers that comes with full-size features. It can be folded with one hand and put away in the trunk or garage. It can be used as a travel stoller, and is compatible with no additional adapters with most car seats.
Unlike most lightweight travel strollers unlike other strollers that are lightweight, the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ features two seats and can hold up to 50 lbs per seat (100 lb total). The seats feature individual leg rests, as well as three-panel canopies with flip-out sunvisors and peekaboo window.
The seats are cushioned for your infant's comfort. They come with a five-point padded safety harness that can be adjusted to three different heights. Each comes with an infant cushion, which is perfect for infants. The cup holders for parents and child, the cellphone holder and the large storage basket will be loved by parents. The stroller can also be equipped with the Yoyo+ Board, which turns it into a tandem stroller.

Joovy Kooper X2
The Kooper X2 is an excellent choice for parents who want a lightweight double stroller that can carry two children. The sling-style seats are comfortable and they offer the same amount of headroom as other double strollers. This lets kids sit together. The Kooper X2 is unique in that it has a fully reclined seat, making it a great option for napping. double buggy is simple to use but doesn't go completely flat. Children who are taller may notice an unbalanced leg when they sit in a reclined position. It also comes with a large canopy that we found to be better in blocking out the sun than other strollers in our best double strollers review.
The stroller is light enough to navigate through door frames, which was a major issue for us with other models we tried. It is easy to fold and the handlebars are close to the ground. The only drawback is its limited storage space, which can feel uncomfortable when filled with kids' toys.
